Expected Turnaround Time

Gel-barrier tube and lavender-top (EDTA) tube

Collection

Serum: Separate serum from cells within 2 hours of collection.

Whole blood: Invert tube 8 to 10 times immediately after tube is filled at time of collection.

Storage Instructions

Maintain at room temperature.
