Get Tested Through Your Healthcare Provider or Through an At-home Collection Kit Ordered by Your Educational Institution

As directed by your educational institution, you may be instructed to visit your local health center for a test or they may send you an at-home collection kit.

Who should be tested?

As directed by your educational institution, or if you have COVID-19 symptoms, have come into contact with someone who you know is infected by the coronavirus, or meet criteria established by the CDC.

How is this test administered?

Nasal swab sample is taken by a doctor or other healthcare provider from the nose or throat via a swab.

Where are samples collected?

At a healthcare provider’s office, a healthcare provider-designated site (drive thru and pharmacy), or at home using the university ordered at-home collection kit.

How long does it take to get results?

The current average time to deliver results for the COVID-19 swab test is 1-3 days from the date of specimen pickup. Results are delivered to your doctor and online at: Labcorp Patient™.

If you are requested to be tested by your educational institution, and they have asked you to find testing on your own. This collection kit is available for anyone ages 2 or older who is looking to get tested for an active infection of COVID-19. You will receive your own result and can provide it to the university.
