LabCorp Employer Services
LabCorp Employer Services (formerly Wellness Corporate Solutions), a leading provider of biometric screenings, health coaching and comprehensive wellness programming, has recently launched employee on-site or off-site COVID-19 screening and testing services designed to support employer return to work strategies. These services use testing at LabCorp facilities located throughout the country.
‘Stay and Work’ and ‘Return to Work’ services help businesses identify employees with elevated temperatures and other possible COVID-19 symptoms who are reporting to work during the COVID-19 pandemic, or requesting to return to work.
Both services consist of a simple, two-step process managed by on-site trained staff:
Following each screening, and in accordance with the employer’s policies and procedures, employees will be cleared for work or redirected to the client’s human resources team or other designated client staff for further action.
The purpose of this testing is to check to see if you have COVID-19. For employees with active COVID-19 symptoms, they should contact their doctor or healthcare provider.
On-site: The COVID-19 PCR test uses a self-collection nasal swab to detect the presence of the underlying virus that causes COVID-19. Staff will be available on-site for assistance with sample collection and shipment, with results available in 2-4 days.
Off-site: We offer a COVID-19 test for at-home sample collection, which detects the presence of the virus that causes COVID-19 via a self-administered nasal swab, and can be sent directly to employees at their home with results available in 2-4 days upon receipt of sample. The at-home collection test kit has received Emergency Use Authorization from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
This type of COVID-19 antibody test is for individuals who think they may have previously had COVID-19 and do not currently have symptoms. It can check for antibodies that may have developed after exposure to the virus that causes COVID-19. Note: antibody testing should not be used as the sole basis to diagnose or exclude infection.
On-site: The COVID-19 IgG antibody test determines the presence of antibodies to SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, and helps identify individuals who may have been exposed to the virus. This test is available as a dried blood spot fingerstick test or as a blood draw, both of which can be performed conveniently at your facility, with results available in 2-4 days.
Off-site: The COVID-19 IgG antibody test is a blood draw test, performed at a LabCorp patient service center or convenient LabCorp at Walgreens location. A phlebotomist at the facility will collect and prepare the sample, with results available in 2-4 days.
All service offerings are conducted by trained LabCorp Employer Services staff.

LabCorp’s COVID-19 PCR test has not been FDA cleared or approved, has been authorized by the FDA under an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA), and has been authorized only for the detection of nucleic acid from SARS-CoV-2, not for any other viruses or pathogens. The test is only authorized for the duration of the declaration that circumstances exist justifying the authorization of emergency use of in vitro diagnostic tests for detection and/or diagnosis of COVID-19 under Section 564(b)(1) of the Act, 21 U.S.C. § 360bbb-3(b)(1), unless the authorization is terminated or revoked sooner.
LabCorp’s fingerstick, or dried blood spot, IgG antibody test is being provided as a laboratory developed test, and uses the Euroimmun platform which received Emergency Use Authorization by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. LabCorp completed independent validation studies on this testing. The COVID-19 IgG antibody blood test detects the presence of antibodies to the virus and can help determine if an individual may have been exposed to the virus. While antibody tests are helpful to understand if an individual has developed antibodies and a potential immune response, antibody testing should not be used as the sole basis to diagnose or exclude infection.
Services provided by Wellness Corporate Solutions have been re-branded and we are now using the name LabCorp Employer Services. LabCorp Employer Services, Inc. is a subsidiary of Laboratory Corporation of America Holdings (LabCorp).
