Staff Scientist, Flow Cytometry

Dr. Anissa Fries joined Labcorp Drug Development in 2021 as a staff scientist in the flow cytometry department. In her role, Anissa is responsible for developing and validating new flow cytometry assays, as well as transferring validated assays into Labcorp’s central laboratory in Geneva.

Before joining Labcorp, Anissa worked as postdoctoral research fellow at Lausanne University Hospital (Switzerland) where she studied the role of the interleukin-26, a Th17 cytokine, in the development of psoriasis. During her PhD at the Centre d’Immunologie de Marseille-Luminy (France), she focused her research on the role of classical monocytes during cytomegalovirus infection.
