Labcorp Selected as a UnitedHealthcare Preferred Lab Network Provider for the Third Year in a Row

Labcorp is pleased to announce that following a rigorous quality review process, it will continue to participate as a UnitedHealthcare Preferred Laboratory Network (PLN) provider for 2021-2022. Labcorp shares a commitment to UnitedHealthcare’s Triple Aim – improving healthcare affordability, outcomes and patient experience – and looks forward to furthering these endeavors through the third iteration of the PLN. Labcorp has a long and deep relationship with UnitedHealthcare, and together they have brought many improvements and innovations in laboratory care to patients and physicians. The 2021-2022 extension for PLN further solidifies that partnership. The new PLN year launched on July 1, 2021, and marks the third year in a row for this distinction.

Labcorp was one of only ten organizations selected from UnitedHealthcare’s broad laboratory network, serving as a reminder to UnitedHealthcare’s more than 48 million members and 110,000 physicians that Labcorp meets UnitedHealthcare’s high standards for access, cost, data, quality and service. Labcorp provides high-quality, high-value laboratory services, with an emphasis on an improved laboratory experience. That experience includes greater access and convenience through a broad network of collection centers, including Labcorp at Walgreens, along with online and mobile tools that make it easier to order the right tests, to schedule lab appointments, and to receive and understand test results. By choosing Labcorp as their PLN laboratory, physicians and patients will receive laboratory services that prioritize better patient outcomes at lower costs, reflecting Labcorp’s mission to improve health and improve lives.

Labcorp and the other 2021-2022 Preferred Lab Network providers are highlighted in UnitedHealthcare directories starting July 1, 2021.
