Dr. Kyle C. Strickland, MD, PhD, is Director of Medical Affairs for Labcorp Oncology and a board-certified anatomic pathologist and cytopathologist. In his role, he provides medical leadership across a broad oncology testing portfolio, supporting the integration of molecular diagnostics into clinical decision-making and evidence-based test utilization.

His work focuses on how tumor biology drives clinical outcomes, integrating molecular and morphologic data to refine cancer classification and improve the application of targeted therapies. He is particularly interested in understanding variability in treatment response and identifying where current models of cancer biology fall short in guiding clinical care.

Dr. Strickland also holds an adjunct faculty appointment at Duke University.
