Test Includes
ANCA; Anti-MPO (Myeloperoxidase) Ab; Anti-PR-3 (Proteinase 3) Ab; c-ANCA ans p-ANCA are resulted if positive. Otherwise, ANCA is reported as negative. Anti-Nuclear Ab (ANA) by IFA is performed if ANCA positive.
Expected Turnaround Time
7 - 10 days
Turnaround time is defined as the usual number of days from the date of pickup of a specimen for testing to when the result is released to the ordering provider. In some cases, additional time should be allowed for additional confirmatory or additional reflex tests. Testing schedules may vary.

Grossly hemolyzed; bacterial contamination; lipemic specimen; icteric specimen; non-serum specimen types
Test Details
Use
C-ANCA & P-ANCA resulted if positive, otherwise reported as ANCA Negative. PANCA confirmed on formalin fixed slides. ANA performed if ANCA positive to rule out false positive ANCA due to presence of ANA.
Limitations
This test was developed and its performance characteristics determined by LabCorp. It has not been cleared or approved by the Food and Drug Administration.
