In November 2023, Labcorp acquired select assets of Legacy Health’s outreach business. As part of the acquisition, Labcorp also manages Legacy's inpatient hospital laboratories through a long-term agreement to provide staffing, leadership, scientific knowledge, analytics, supply chain services and laboratory support.
Since the close of the transaction, Labcorp and Legacy have been working closely to evaluate existing workflows and processes to fully understand provider needs and develop solutions to help meet patient and physician requirements.
