Immune Gene Expression Patterns in Molecular Subtypes of Endometrial Carcinoma

Endometrial carcinoma is a biologically heterogeneous disease that can be stratified into four molecular subtypes—MSI-H, POLE-ultramutated (POLEum), copy-number high (CNH), and tumors with no specific mutational profile (NSMP, sometimes referred to as “copy-number low”)
Molecular classification plays an important role in clinical decision-making, particularly in guiding the use of targeted therapies and immunotherapies. For example, MSI-H and POLEum tumors are often associated with favorable responses to immune checkpoint inhibitors due to their high mutational burden and immunogenicity.
This study aims to characterize immune-related gene expression signatures across molecularly defined subgroups of endometrial carcinoma, with a focus on identifying biomarkers and immune targets that may help guide future immunotherapy research.
