Dr. Matthew Evans joined Labcorp Drug Development as part of the development and validation team in 2019. In his current role, Matt is the global scientific director of this team, which provides genomics clinical assays for our clients, including qPCR, arrays and next-generation sequencing. As the global scientific director, he provides scientific and technical leadership for the exploration and establishment of new platforms and tests to support cutting-edge clinical trials.
Prior to joining Labcorp Drug Development, Matt received his doctorate in molecular biology from the University of Massachusetts Medical School and worked in the clinical diagnostic industry.
