Matthew Crawford is a Scientist II at Labcorp with nearly two decades of experience in clinical laboratory science and mass spectrometry. His work centers on the development, validation, and implementation of quantitative clinical assays using LC‑MS/MS and GC‑MS platforms. Matthew provides scientific leadership for assay development programs, manages and mentors research staff, and collaborates with internal and external partners to advance novel analytical solutions. His research interests include microsampling, laboratory automation, endogenous biomarker analysis, and clinical calibration strategies. He has authored peer‑reviewed publications and is a frequent speaker at ASMS and MSACL conferences. Matthew earned his BS in Biochemistry from California State University, Northridge, and is completing his PhD in Analytical Chemistry at the University of Texas at Arlington.
