Dr. Lee Goneau completed his doctoral training in the department of Microbiology and Immunology at Western University, Ontario, Canada. Following his graduate studies, he completed a postdoctoral training program in Clinical Microbiology at the University of Toronto and became a Fellow of the Canadian College of Microbiologists in 2017. Since 2019, Dr. Goneau has been working as the National Director of Microbiology at Dynacare where he has led numerous initiatives, including implementation of SARS-CoV-2 testing, expanding the laboratory’s molecular diagnostics portfolio, and leveraging automation, artificial intelligence, and informatics to improve quality and patient care.
