Dr. Kung is board certified in anatomic pathology, clinical pathology, and hematopathology. She earned her medical degree from the Shanghai Second Medical University in China and her PhD in biochemistry from the University of Vermont. She completed her residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, and Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey. Dr. Kung was a postdoctoral research fellow at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute at Washington University, St. Louis, and completed a hematopathology fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Dr. Kung has authored more than a dozen publications in peer-reviewed medical journals and was a contributing author to the book entitled Manual of Molecular and Clinical Laboratory Immunology, 7th edition.
