Delphis Vera is a physician and healthcare innovation business professional with over 15 years’ experience in real-world data (RWD), digital health transformation, and healthcare product innovation seeking to improve people’s lives by developing and managing innovative solutions at the intersection of technologies, data science, clinical research, and healthcare. He has been in the healthcare industry since 2008, first with a military medical research institution where he managed complex programs and projects of global scope in biomedical research and international development in Central and South America as part of the global efforts of the United States Government to enhance global public health preparedness and security in the region. 

Afterwards, he transitioned to the private sector with Roche Pharmaceuticals leading RWD and Phase III clinical trials in South America and optimizing the approval and execution processes for clinical studies and access programs. Later, Dr. Vera joined an early stage startup named Feedtrail, Inc., as the Head of Data analytics and BI, leading all initiatives for the development and implementation of data analytics tools, roadmap strategy and system integration in their SaaS platform to provide customers with actionable insights to deliver exceptional human-centered experiences and achieve better health outcomes for their patients.

Currently, Dr. Vera is serving as a Physician Scientist for Strategic Scientific Projects at Labcorp focused on analyzing our internal diagnostic database for the identification of new biomarkers for early disease detection. Prior to this role, Dr. Vera served as an IT Director for digital transformation and business strategy, demonstrating a capacity to bridge technological advancements with business objectives through clinical innovation and product/program management.

Dr. Vera's academic pursuits include a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Master of Clinical Epidemiology from Cayetano Heredia University and a Medical Doctorate from the National University of San Marcos in Lima, Peru.
