In a recent press release, Optum.ai announced a collaboration with Labcorp that will apply artificial intelligence (AI) to simplify laboratory operations, improve efficiency and enhance the patient and provider experience.
Initial efforts will focus on high value, practical use cases across Labcorp, including enhanced patient engagement and personalized communication; AI-enabled prior authorization and appeals management workflow support; and advanced laboratory workflow automation aimed to optimize lab operations and support more timely, accurate delivery of test results to patients and providers.
