Investigating Proficiency Testing

Valerie McCain, Atlantic Division Regional Quality Manager along with Charlene Nickolson, Southeast Division Quality Manager and Lalita Love-Jones, Southeast Division Quality Manager, will provide an in-depth review of how to properly investigate proficiency testing failures per regulatory standards. This session will explore techniques on how to review all documentation for proficiency testing to include performance evaluations and summaries, statistical information and raw data to determine the root cause of any failures, along with implementation of corrective action and measure the effectiveness of the corrective action. Participants will gain knowledge from these techniques to fulfill all regulatory requirements for proficiency testing review and strive towards successful proficiency testing status.
