Dr. Shannon Covey is board certified in anatomic pathology, clinical pathology and hematopathology. She earned her medical degree from Texas A&M School of Medicine. She completed her anatomic and clinical pathology residency at the University of North Carolina Hospitals and a hematopathology fellowship at Weill Cornell Medical College / New York Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Covey’s experience includes serving as pathologist in a private practice in San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Covey is a member of the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology and the College of American Pathologists.
