Dr. Cascio is board certified in anatomic pathology, clinical pathology and hematology. He earned his medical degree from the University of Nevada School of Medicine where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society. Dr. Cascio completed anatomic and clinical pathology residency and surgical pathology fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) followed by hematopathology fellowship at Stanford University. Dr. Cascio is a member of the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathologists, the College of American Pathologists, the American Society for Clinical Pathology, Society for Hematopathology, and International Clinical Cytometry Society.
