Dr. Egan is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology, cytopathology, and hematopathology. She received her medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, New York. She completed her anatomic and clinical pathology residency at the University of North Carolina Hospitals in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, where she also completed fellowships in both cytopathology and hematopathology. Dr Egan’s experience includes serving as staff pathologist at Cone Health Alamance Regional Medical Center, and as a medical laboratory director for Cornerstone Healthcare in High Point, North Carolina. Dr. Egan also has a background in Clinical Research, including work on studies for Merck, Berlex, Biogen, Pfizer, and GlaxoSmithKline.
