Dr. Schrager is board certified in anatomic pathology and hematopathology. He earned his medical degree from Dartmouth Medical School in Hanover, New Hampshire, and pursued HIV basic research as a postdoctoral fellow at the National Institutes of Health. He completed his residency in anatomic pathology, followed by fellowships in hematopathology and flow cytometry, at the National Cancer Institute. In addition to pathology Dr. Schrager also has a passion in wellness. In 2017 he became board certified by the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine. Dr. Schrager is a coauthor of the chapter entitled Flow Cytometric Analysis in the Diagnosis and Prognosis of Lymphoma and Chronic Leukemias in Flow Cytometry in Clinical Diagnosis, 4th edition and medical editor of Diagnostic Pathology: Spleen, published in 2014.
