Dr. Liu is board certified in anatomic pathology, clinical pathology, and hematology (hematopathology). She earned her medical degree from Peking University Health Science Center in Beijing, China. She obtained a PhD degree from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She completed her AP/CP pathology residency in Northwell Health Staten Island University Hospital and Houston Methodist Hospital. She did a hematopathology fellowship at The University of Texas at MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Liu is a member of the American Society of Clinical Pathology, the College of American Pathologists, the Society for Hematopathology, the International Clinical Cytometry Society, and the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology.
