Dr. Gloria Haskell earned her PhD in Neurobiology from UNC-Chapel Hill where she also worked as a research associate investigating the clinical implementation of whole exome sequencing in the hospital setting. She completed American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics-accredited fellowship programs in both clinical cytogenetics and clinical molecular genetics at Duke University, where she gained broad expertise in clinical genetic testing for a wide range of heritable medical genetic conditions and acquired malignancies. 

She holds certification in Cytogenetics, Molecular Genetics, and Molecular Oncology from the New York State Department of Health and holds a California director license. At Labcorp she has led scientific and clinical operations in genomics labs and currently manages a technical director team. She has published numerous articles as well as a book chapter in the areas of molecular and cytogenomic diagnostics. Dr. Haskell has served as a Paternity and Relationship testing director, a Clinical Laboratory Director, and currently serves as the CLIA Director for Labcorp’s DNA Identity, HLA, and Consumer Genetics laboratories.
