Labcorp has announced a new commercial collaboration with Olaris to help expand access to myOLARIS®-KTdx (KTdx), a first-of-its-kind, non-invasive laboratory developed test designed to monitor kidney transplant health.
Through this collaboration, KTdx will become more directly integrated into clinical workflows across the United States, combining Olaris' innovation in transplant diagnostics with Labcorp's scientific expertise, commercialization capabilities, national infrastructure and clinical reach. The collaboration will enable streamlined test ordering and broad patient access through Labcorp's nationwide network of more than 2,200 patient service centers.
"Approximately one in ten kidney transplant patients experience rejection in the first year, reinforcing the importance of dependable, accessible monitoring," said Marcia Eisenberg, Ph.D., chief scientific officer at Labcorp. "As Labcorp builds on its capabilities in transplant diagnostics, we're proud to work with Olaris to help bring solutions like KTdx to more patients and providers nationwide."
This collaboration highlights Labcorp’s continued investment in advancing transplant diagnostics and improving patient care. KTdx is expected to be available through Labcorp later this year.
