Application Requirements

Please review the requirements listed below when submitting your request for funding. Requests may be reviewed by either Labcorp or The Labcorp Charitable Foundation.

  1. Organization must have Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status;
  2. Request must meet one of the three supported areas: a) health and welfare; b) education; and c) community; 
  3. Request for funding should be received by the company at least 10-12 weeks prior to the project. Please note The Labcorp Charitable Foundation reviews requests twice annually in March and September;
  4. All requests must be received online – phone solicitations are not accepted;
  5. Supporting flyers or documents regarding the event or program are required with your request. Organization must complete and submit the form below and include a description of the organization, its mission, program budget and details on how the funds will be used.

  • Individuals or families
  • Political campaigns or candidates
  • Fraternal organizations
  • Individual or team sports; sport clubs, activities or events
  • Churches and other religious organizations
  • Schools for advertising in yearbooks, souvenir programs, or other special occasion publications
  • Incentive or reward programs
  • General operating support to hospitals and healthcare institutions including capital campaigns, construction, renovation projects or equipment purchases.  
  • Payment of staff salaries is generally not supported
  • Individual sponsorships related to fundraising activities
  • Door prizes, gift certificates or other giveaways
  • Government Officials
  • Fundraising events in which the Foundation receives any goods or services in consideration for the contribution
  • Organizations that deny service, membership or other involvement on the basis of age, sex, race, religion, color, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, citizenship, veteran or disability status
