Test Details


Use

DQA1 antigens may be correlated with certain disease states or other clinical conditions. Also used for screening of transplant candidates and potential donors, transfusion of specifically compatible blood products, among others. This test is for single locus typing at high resolution.


Methodology

Sequence based typing (SBT), sequence specific oligonucleotide probes (SSOP), and/or sequence specific primers (SSP) as needed to obtain the required resolution.
