Chimerism Analysis With CD33/CD66b Cells (Transplant Monitoring)
- Cell Sorting CD33/CD66b
- Chimerism Analysis With Sorted Myeloid Cells
- Engraftment Monitoring Sorted Myeloid Cells
Monitor the level of donor CD33/CD66b cells in the recipient (patient-host) of a hematopoietic stem cell transplant. Polymorphic loci determined in the preëngraftment testing are used as a reference for the evaluation.
This test was developed, and its performance characteristics determined, by LabCorp. It has not been cleared or approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Antibody-mediated positive selection of CD33/CD66 cells and separation with magnetic nanoparticles. DNA analysis by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) of short tandem repeats (STR)
Yellow-top (ACD-A or ACD-B) tube
Maintain specimen at room temperature. Do not refrigerate or freeze.
Causes for Rejection
Improper collection tube (ie, EDTA or heparin); hemolysis; clotted specimen
To schedule this test, you must telephone 800-533-1037, HLA customer service. Ship specimen to arrive in the laboratory between Monday and Friday.
