Detect the presence of Tapentadol


Limitations

This test was developed and its performance characteristics determined by LabCorp. It has not been cleared or approved by the Food and Drug Administration.


Methodology

Initial presumptive testing by immunoassay at the following testing thresholds: Tapentadol 5.0 ng/mL; presumptive positives confirmed to limit of quantitation by definitive chromotography mass spectrometry (GC/MS or LC/MS-MS).
