Michael Schmiederer, PhD, S(ACHI)

Dr Schmiederer earned his PhD in microbiology and immunology from the University of South Florida College of Medicine. Prior to that, he graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a bachelor of science degree in medical technology. He is certified by the American College for Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics and holds memberships with the American Society for Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics and the Association for the Advancement of Blood & Biotherapies.

Dr Schmiederer serves as a technical director for histocompatibility at Labcorp. Other areas of specialty include hematopoietic stem cell (HSC) transplantation.
