André Valcour, PhD, MBA, DABCC

Vice President and Laboratory Director, Center for Esoteric Testing, Labcorp; Discipline Director of Allergy, Coagulation, and Endocrinology, Labcorp

Dr. Valcour serves as either national discipline director of the following Labcorp clinical specialties: endocrinology, allergy, hemostasis/thrombosis and automated immunoassay.

Dr. Valcour earned a BS in Chemistry from Clarkson University and a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Vermont. He completed his postdoctoral fellowship training in Clinical Chemistry at Hartford Hospital in Hartford, CT. He earned an MBA from Elon University, where he graduated with distinction and was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma business and the Phi Kappa Phi academic honor societies. Dr. Valcour was also presented with the Richard H. Behrman Award for the Class of 2014, an honor bestowed to the most outstanding graduating MBA student as selected by the faculty of Elon’s Business School.

Dr. Valcour is a diplomate of the American Board of Clinical Chemistry (DABCC), a fellow of the National Academy of Biochemistry (NACB), and is certified by the New York State Department of Health as a director of clinical chemistry, endocrinology, therapeutic drug monitoring, clinical toxicology and serologic oncology.
