STR DNA Analysis (16 loci including the 13 CODIS loci)

STR DNA analysis is the most common type of nuclear DNA testing being performed today. LabCorp currently tests the 13 CODIS loci (DNA locations selected by the FBI for the National data base) and also has the ability to test two additional non-CODIS loci, with a standard turnaround time of 3 to 4 weeks. LabCorp has analyzed thousands of evidentiary samples such as crime scene swabs, hair, gum, envelopes, weapons, rocks, and food products. Any type of evidence sample is accepted for analysis.
