LabCorp is accredited as a sponsor for both physician and non-physician continuing education. LabCorp has been an accredited sponsor for continuing medical education since 1994.

LabCorp is accredited by the

  • Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to sponsor continuing medical education for physicians. As an accredited sponsor we are able to designate a continuing medical education activity for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™.
  • ASCLS P.A.C.E.® program, Florida Department of Health-Board of Clinical Laboratory Personnel, and the state of California Department of Health Services as a provider of continuing education (CEU) for laboratory personnel.
  • Educational Activities

    LabCorp offers educational activities in various formats on numerous topics related to diagnostic medicine. Most activities are approved for both CME and CEU credits from the above accreditation councils.

    As part of our educational activities, we offer Web cast or audio conference events and regularly publish journal articles for continuing education credits. Topics covered in recent articles include food allergy and Celiac Disease, HPV and cervical cancer, screening for aneuploidy in the first trimester, and genetic causes of male infertility.
